ATLANTA – Atlanta-based Precision Aviation Group (PAG), a leading provider of products and value-added services to the Worldwide Aerospace and Defense industries, announces Independence, Kansas based Aviation Controls, Inc. (ACI) has changed the company name to Precision Aviation Controls (PAC). The change was made to identify the business as a member of the Precision Aviation Group of companies, and to better reflect the expanding capabilities of PAC.
PAG acquired PAC in July 2014. Initially, PAC was primarily a Honeywell Authorized MRO Services provider of Fuel Accessories for Military and Rotary Wing Markets with capabilities in the RR250, LTS101, and J85 engine platforms. PAG has invested heavily in the business, developing additional capabilities in an effort to provide additional capabilities to PAG’s broad range of Commercial, Military and Turbine General Aviation services for Fixed and Rotary-Wing aircraft.
“Over the past 20 months, we have made significant capital investments in inventory and capabilities expansion to enhance PAC’s suite of Fuel Accessory related MRO services. The new services include Fuel Pumps, Flow Dividers, and Fixed Wing capabilities,” said David Mast, President and CEO of PAG. “These investments have given both PAC and the other Precision Aviation Group companies the ability to enhance and expand the services provided to our customers.”
Jim Robertson, PAC President concurs, stating, “Being acquired by PAG has allowed us to leverage product and service development to meet the needs of our customers and reach a larger customer base. The decision to change the name now allows us to align our customer focused marketing, advertising, and branding with the other PAG companies around the globe.”
